The Experience
How the shoot works…
Step 1 - Free Consult
Step 1 - The initial consultation is there to understand more about you, your brand and your business and what you are trying to achieve, who your target audience is and which online platforms and print medium you hope to put the images to use with. This is all captured in your file on our CRM system and allows you to provide your specific requirements in the pre-shoot questionnaire, including any relevant reference images to help plan the shot list, props and sets.
Step 2 - Planning Session
A final shortlist of shots is created based on priority, and a timeline is then created with indoor/outdoor locations. Shirley will visit sites with you and run through suggestions on clothing and scenes for your shoot. Your branding colours and style is taken into account and guidance is provided on all aspects of the shoots including props - all to ensure that the perfect reflection of you and your brand is captured.
Step 3 - Getting Ready
Step 3 - Immediately prior to your shoot, you will get a final run-through to check everything is ready and the weather is ideal for outdoor shoots or a backup location is needed.
Step 4 - Experience & Session
Your Photo Session on the day, the shoot will be a minimum of 1 hr and Shirley arrives 15 minutes prior to the actual start time to prepare any artificial lighting and carry out one final check of locations. A fun shoot ensues and time is taken to make you feel relaxed and at ease in front of the camera. Guidance is provided to help you feel and look stunning throughout the shoot.
Step 5 - Images Delivered
Immediately after the shoot, all images are backed up and within the first week, you should receive all the photographer’s selected images for you to choose from to be professionally edited. These are supplied in an online gallery you can like and comment to request specific editing that can clean up an image, and improve and enhance your photo professionally and cleanly.
You receive your final edits for review and approval, and you receive both the online web quality images and print quality images with the option to purchase prints or wall art as well.
